The Large Walking Rabbit

This impressive 8.5-inch wide Walking Rabbit is a centerpiece of the Bittersweet House collection. Cast from a rare antique German chocolate mold, the piece is celebrated for its remarkable lifelike fur texture—a level of detail rarely seen in smaller figures.

To celebrate the season, I have hand-painted a meadow of delicate spring flowers in the grass beneath him. This blend of realistic antique texture and colorful folk art artistry makes each piece a one-of-a-kind treasure.

Using self-taught methods, Bittersweet House Folk Art captures the character and warmth of the German tradition. Standing approx 5.75 inches tall, this substantial piece takes on the feel of a well-loved antique through my specialized finishing and antiquing techniques. Every piece is signed, numbered, and dated on the bottom by Kathryn Campbell.
