The Bittersweet House Bunny
Catalog #R329 — Inspired by Our Signature Logo

This hand-crafted rabbit (R329) holds a very special place in my collection. Standing 5 1/2 inches tall, the painting of her charming dress and character was directly inspired by the antique German Easter postcard that serves as the Bittersweet House logo.
Cast from an antique chocolate mold, she is a three-dimensional tribute to the heritage of German folk art. Each piece is hand-painted in the soft, nostalgic colors of the original postcard and finished with a time-worn patina that makes her feel like a century-old treasure.

A Tradition of Character
By bringing the Bittersweet House logo to life in chalkware, I aim to share the same warmth and whimsy that first drew me to antique German paper ephemera. This rabbit is a signature piece, representing the heart of my artistry. As with all my work, she is signed, numbered, and dated on the bottom.
