The Rabbit Family in Spring Egg
Catalog #R315 — A Rare Heirloom Scene
This hand-crafted 5-inch chalkware piece captures a heartwarming scene of a rabbit family nestled together in a large egg. Cast from a rare German antique chocolate mold, this figure is a beautiful representation of the "loving" side of folk art.
The egg itself serves as a canvas, which I have hand-painted with a vibrant garden of spring flowering vines. Every detail, from the expressions of the family to the delicate floral brushwork, is finished with my signature antiquing process to create the feel of a well-loved 19th-century treasure.
