Certain pieces in a collection represent more than craft—they are a preservation of history. This Santa with Angel is one of those rare treasures.
Handcrafted by artist Kathryn Campbell, this piece is cast from a **rare pre-WWII antique chocolate mold manufactured by Anton Reiche in Dresden, Germany.** Renowned among collectors as the world's premier mold maker, Reiche's designs are celebrated for their extraordinary detail and historical character.
**The Design:** Featuring the rare inclusion of a companion Angel, this Belsnickle is hand-painted with a sophisticated Pennsylvania Dutch Fraktur motif. The intricate wings of the angel and the deep relief of Santa's features are hallmarks of the original Anton Reiche steel casting.
Of special note: This casting is a true "Collector's Collector" item. Every piece is hand-painted in original colors, finished with an aged patina, numbered, dated, and signed.
