Bring a piece of New England folk art into your home for the holidays with this handcrafted Chalkware Santa. The art of molding plaster of paris into holiday treasures is a centuries-old German tradition.
Handcrafted by artist Kathryn Campbell of Bittersweet House Folk Art, this piece features a **stunning winter aqua coat** adorned with an intricate **'Partridge in a Pear Tree' design.**
**The Storytelling:** Inspired by the classic holiday carol, this Santa celebrates the 'Twelve Days of Christmas.' The warm yellows and greens of the fruit and the detailed plumage of the partridge create a vibrant focal point against the serene aqua blue background.
Of special note: This piece is cast in chalkware using a wonderful rare antique German chocolate mold. Each piece is hand-painted in an original design, aged with a soft vintage patina, numbered, dated, and signed.
